Stainless Steel is very Eco friendly and good for the environment. as recycled scrap is used to make 90% of new stainless steel items.
It is also better for the environment as there is less maintenance on the products. It also eliminates the need to be painted or galvanised in the future. Stainless products have a longer life expectancy.
This gives customers better value for money due to the higher standard and quality. It is easy to clean and is safer which makes it ideal for use on food and catering equipment.
Over time rust marks may appear on stainless steel products. They can be removed using non-scratching creams, or an oxalic acid solution. This can be where iron particles have been embedded in the surface.
The screw can be used for many different applications as explained above that include fastening Wood, Steel and other construction materials and are also used for DIY work around the house with the small clam pack ideal for small jobs due to pack size.

Cold forging and thread rolling , greatly increases the strenth of A2 (18/8) and A4 (18/10Mo) stainless steel fasteners. This ‘work hardening’ makes them stronger than similar products made form mild steel and plated fasteners. Often is it possible to use smaller or fewer screws than would be necessary for the job.
The strength factor of a product is determined as follows below:
50 = Lowest strength class which is usually for products of softened steel and with machined thread.
70 = Higher strength class resulting from cold forging and thread rolling.
80 = Highest strength. This is attained by many cold forged, extruded thread rolled parts and when specially drawn cold bars are used.
